"Empowering Women" in 2023

Many people on LinkedIn are supporting the empowerment of women, so we looked at what is involved. 

We asked some people if they felt empowered, and what it means to "empower women", and how to ? Then reading on the subject, something popped up, a one hour documentary having a large effect on viewers and the education of their kids over 5 years, and thus the idea to show that film to 26,000 people in Kenya in January. One thing leads to another....

We are hoping to get hold of the documentary mentioned above for showing as the first month of an Empowerment Curriculum. The second month at the moment is envisioned as being materials from the BAN KI-MOON Centre for Global Citizens. Third month currently in discussion.

Just to clarify, this is three different events, designed to accomodate multiples of 12 people at each, different audiences for each one, NOT an all day event in three venues. The lunch event is designed as kids friendly, with kids at a separate table if desired or in the park opposite, so best to bring a friend of theirs also, it is the holidays after all.

8am - zoom together online

8.30 to 9 am - speed networking , Cafe Mario in Hietzing

11.15 to 13.45 - coworking/colearning/collaborating & lunch at Pizzeria Mama Mia in Mariahilf

- lunch from 12 to 13

6pm  - zoom together online

18.15 to 20.45 - coworking/colearning/collaborating & dinner at Park Hotel Schönbrunn in Hietzing

- dinner from 7 to 8

Morning event is designed to meet, greet and share energy with 11 others in 3 rounds of 8 minutes. As in the past at SkyBar etc.

Afternoon and Evening Events are designed to allow head space for "home" learning or "home" working in a friendly group of like minded people, as well as a chance to collaborate, and to increase social capital by "talking with everyone in the room" over lunch or dinner.
