Cynthia Nyongesa
Facebook just brought me a memory where I was calling myself #OrdinaryGirlWithBigDreams 🤪
I started amplifying the stories of children and youth 5 years ago on #CynthiaUNTAMED. It's been tough, especially when people keep asking why you aren't 'rich'. I've had so many challenges along the way, spent long nights trying to improve my craft. I've had people laugh at me, make fun of me, abuse me. And this journey has also shown God's grace, from God bringing me mentors and sponsors, friends, opportunities through work and travel, courage, resilience, a fighting chance. I'm grateful because God sees me. To every young person out there who has started something, just keep fighting, be patient, pray, be kind, encourage other people. Be faithful in the small things. 💪 Kwa uhakika, Ni Time Yetu, Turn Yetu, Future Yetu 😎
#GenUKenya — feeling blessed.
